Xbox boss Phil Spencer has apologized for the "disappointing" launch of Redfall.

Redfall is a video game developed by Bethesda Softworks and is set to be released for Xbox Series X/S and Microsoft Windows in 2022. The game takes place on an island filled with vampires and players try to complete various missions by choosing from four different characters with unique abilities.

However, the game’s initial unveiling was met with disappointment and criticism from many players. In response to these criticisms, Xbox boss Phil Spencer apologized for the game’s launch in a statement on Twitter.

Spencer said, “I apologize for Redfall’s disappointing launch and for not delivering the quality that players expected.” He also thanked Arkane Studios, the game’s developer, and the Xbox team, saying, “Our developers and publishing team will continue to work on this.”

Spencer’s apology was well-received by Xbox fans and it is hoped that the game’s developers will continue to work on the issue, while players’ excitement for the game remains high.
